Community Events
Many Blocks is committed to strengthening the ties that connect our neighborhood. Through our community events, drives, collections, and other engagement activities, we are fostering a united community. These activities and events provide opportunities for neighbors to connect, share experiences, support one another, and build lasting relationships. Our ultimate goal is to unite neighbors and strengthen our local community.
Family Emergency Fund
The Family Emergency Fund is a crucial resource for families who may be experiencing financial crises. We understand that unexpected challenges can make it challenging to afford basic necessities. Through the Family Emergency Fund, we provide immediate financial assistance to community members facing financial hardships.
The goal of this program is to empower families, provide a safety net that strengthens our community, and ensure that neighbors are helping neighbors in times of need.
Out-of-School-Time (OST) Programming
Our Out-of-School Time programming is a way to empower and engage the youth in our community. Through after-school and summer programming, we connect youth with a variety of activities to keep them engaged, active, and learning outside of the classroom.
Our goal through OST programming is to provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can channel their energy into positive outlets, explore their interests, develop their skillsets, and benefit from community connectedness.
Workforce Development
The Workforce Development program (in partnership with the United Neighbors Alliance Community Development Corporation (UNACDC)) aims to connect youth with professional growth opportunities, help them explore career and/or educational pathways, and develop the skills needed to succeed on their journeys. We will offer workshops, mentorship, and opportunities for skill-building and work experience.
Our ultimate goal for this program is to empower the youth in our community as they embark on their employment journeys and strengthen our community’s economic well-being.
